April was a good month.
I wasn’t sure on this set of songs for you all at first but, as I’ve listened to them again and written about them, I’ve realised I’ve loved them dearly and hope you’ll find some you do too.

Excitingly, I turn 30 in a couple of days’ time!
So, naturally, I put my nerdy music hat on and decided to (foolishly) collate a list of thirty songs that I love dearly and/or hold a special significance.
This was no easy feat and took me quite a while… There are many favourite bands, artists and songs missing from here. But it’s proved 30 isn’t that big a number (not that I particularly feel old!) I also think I’ve settled on 30 songs that perfectly capture my music tastes and key moments in my life so far.

When Charlie Puth first came on the scene, I was pretty unenthused. The likes of ‘Marvin Gaye‘ and ‘One Call Away‘, whilst both undeniably catchy Pop songs, grated on me and I dismissed him as annoying, immature and generic Pop.
